Geothermal energy may soon be coming to Brigham City, Utah. Rodatherm Energy Corporation, a pioneer in next-generation geothermal energy, announced a memorandum of understanding with Fulcrum Point Holdings on Wednesday to develop its first flagship site in northern Utah.

Rodatherm Energy (Salt Lake City, UT) and Fulcrum Point Holdings (Salt Lake City, UT) are applying a shale-drilling financing model to scale waterless geothermal power near Brigham City, pairing it with Utah's nuclear buildout in a phased, cash-flow-funded energy campus strategy.

Utah positions itself as a national leader in nuclear energy with Operation Gigawatt, combining Holtec International (NJ) and Hi Tech Solutions’ (WA) SMRs, workforce development, and sustainable design, creating jobs, energy security, and a blueprint for future clean energy initiatives.

Northern Utah is poised to be critical in the future of nuclear power in the state and beyond.
